Muq already supports a considerable degree of network transparency: Micronesia programmers for the most part do not have to worry about whether a given object or user is local or remote.
But there is much more that could be done on this front, and I see this as a core Muq capability and selling point, something that Muq should be doing better than any other system in existence.
Ideally, every Muq virtual machine operation should work identically on any mixture of local and remote operands. This involves just lots and lots of detailed hacking and special cases, deep in the Muq C server code.
I don't expect that anyone but me will be doing this work!
