I live in emacs day in and day out; It is a bit frustrating that it is single-threaded and locks up completely whenever something grabs the attention of that single thread.
It would be really cool if we could implement the core emacs functionality in Muq and then run all the existing elisp code base inside of Muq!
This would also open the door to collaborative text hacking via Muq's networking infrastructure, and would be useful (albeit not essential) in writing a really world-class IDE in and for Muq.
There is essentially no chance that I will find time to do this myself, however: It is only going to happen if someone else picks up the ball and runs with it.
